Peter trained as an actor at the prestigious Guildford School of Acting and worked in theatre, TV and film in the UK and through Europe before retraining as a teacher, moving to Singapore and subsequent creation of Centre Stage with Alison Tompkins. He now spends the most of his time producing and directing theatre and sometimes treading the boards himself. Peter and Alison are married and have two lively boys – Alfie and Billy.
Centre Stage School of the Arts was founded in 1999. The school provides quality ongoing courses, weekly programmes and one-off workshops for children and adults with the solid aim providing Arts for Life – to give training that will benefit everyone, students who want to develop as performers and those who know that creative training produces confident people with enhanced communication, thinking and social skills.
The strength of the school is in its thoroughly researched and rigorously developed courses delivered by trained professionals who combine arts education with personal, practical experience of theatre, tv and film. The joy is in the warm, friendly environment and the constant desire for all the staff to go the extra mile for the students.Access denied for user ''@'localhost' (using password: NO)
